Hi, I’m Lara
I’m the founder of LifeFlow Naturopathy. I’m a registered nurse and a final year Master of Naturopathic Medicine student based on the Gold Coast.
I work primarily online and offer local home visits by arrangement. LifeFlow was created as a space for thoughtful, personalised care that honours the whole person and recognises that meaningful change can take time.
My approach brings together my clinical experience in nursing with the principles of naturopathy, supporting you in better understanding your body, your health story, and the practical steps that feel right for you.
I offer services in both English and French and warmly welcome clients who prefer to communicate in either language.
My background in nursing
My career began in nursing, where I have spent more than a decade working across education, chronic disease management and women’s health.
I have supported people navigating complex health concerns, medications and health systems, and I have seen how powerful it can be when someone feels listened to, understands their own body and feels confident to ask questions.
I hold a Bachelor of Nursing and a postgraduate qualification in women’s health. I am completing the final stage of my Master of Naturopathic Medicine, with graduation expected at the end of 2026.
Why I was drawn to naturopathy
Through my experience as a nurse, a patient, and a family member supporting loved ones through health challenges, I have also seen how overwhelmed the health care system can be. Health professionals work incredibly hard, often within limited appointment times where the priority must be to assess an immediate concern, provide treatment and manage urgent needs.
This care is essential. However, it can leave little room to explore the wider picture: what may be contributing to a person’s health concerns, opportunities to prevent further deterioration, and the individual foundations that support health over time.
In naturopathy, this is reflected in the principle of Tolle Causam, meaning “treat the cause.” Rather than viewing a symptom in isolation, we take time to explore the patterns and influences that may be contributing to health concerns. This may include nutrition, sleep, stress, lifestyle, environment, health history and other aspects of the individual’s story.
This is why I was drawn to naturopathy and why LifeFlow is centred on personalised, practical care that gives people time to be heard, understood and supported in making meaningful changes.
My Approach
WHO I WORK BEST WITH
You are curious, thoughtful and ready to play the long game with your health. You understand that meaningful change is rarely a quick fix, and you are open to making gradual, realistic changes with support, even when life is busy.
You value both science and intuition, and you want a practitioner who will explain the why behind each recommendation so you can feel informed, empowered and confident in your own decisions.
HOW I SUPPORT YOU
I bring together my nursing background and naturopathic training to consider your whole health picture, including your nervous system, digestion, hormones, energy, sleep and daily rhythms.
We begin with the foundations of health: food as medicine, lifestyle, rest, movement and herbal or botanical support. Where appropriate, this may also include supplements, relevant testing, or referral to another health professional.
Everything is individualised, practical and designed to work with your body and your real life over time, so the changes you make have the best chance of lasting.
